Once I heard a story about a neighbours’ very old great dane sneakily stealing a gingerbread house off of a glass shelf, without bumping any of the surrounding objects. Sophie ate the entire thing, leaving nary a crumb or candy. When they got home, was as if the whole thing never even existed. So for Miles’ first Christmas present, I couldn’t imagine a better gift than the Kyjen’s Hide-a-Toy Gingerbread House (also seen here). Every year I take it out around Christmas time. Any festive toys that survive the holidays get to go into hiding after Christmas until the next year! Miles has so much fun finding the toys inside his gingerbread house. What better gift for a dog than one he can enjoy “unwrapping” himself?
