A Snow Day with Miles & Spencer

Snow day Welsh Terrier

Miles and I live in an area with a very mild climate. This year, our summer was hotter than usual. Right now, we are experiencing a colder winter than we are used to. The last three weeks the weather has fluctuated between 0C to -7C / 32F to 19F. A few days ago, our neighbor Vanessa was feeling sick, so she asked if we’d walk Spencer (see more pictures of Spencer on M&E here). Of course I said yes! Miles and Spencer (and me and my dad) had a great snow day together.

    Emma,
That is such a nice snow day romp! A bit of snow is fun every now and then… we haven’t had much in Boston, really, but what we’ve had has been enjoyed by two frisky Welsh and me! Nice to have friends to enjoy snow with.. sorry about your Dad having his head cut off, but it looked like he got it back again for the “peering round the corner at the grocery” photo. Very nice! Love, Darcy, Sally and Chester

Hehe Darcy — I added my poor dad’s head in thanks to your comment. I was going for something and clearly it didn’t work. Thanks for that! And not too much snow is okay with me.. You should see how mucky and slushy it is out there right now! That combined with the ridiculous amounts of salt everyone dumped on the sidewalk here, and we’ve got quite the ick factor going, for now…

This year, I am so surprised at how the gap between the East & West coast temps has been smaller than normal… So unusual and eerie! But where you are is a class in itself… So cold! How do you handle it!! -7C has been rough in my apartment…!
