Squirrel Tree Extravaganza

Today I was taking Miles out for his morning walk and he spotted a tree that was swarming with chattering squirrels. I’m not sure what was going on, but it was pretty exciting for the squirrels and for Miles. I kind of got into it with him…

We are plagued by squirrels! Last fall, the squirrels decided that the light over the back door was a good location for snacking on pine cones. The mat at the door was ankle deep in pine cone petals and pine cone bones. It was especially fun to arrive home with dogs and find one perched up there– a wild chase would ensue, with a really angry squirrel spread eagled on the stucco, and two wild terriers leaping below, everyone screaming their heads off. Well, not me. I gave up.

Haha!! Sounds terrible! I can't wait to visit my grandma with Miles… She hates squirrels in her backyard, they are everywhere.
